Marketing Visuals, Sales Content, & Icon Design – Centercode – Lead Graphic Designer
This had all of the trademark difficulties of any product or feature release marketing project, meaning we were working with a highly focused team of product developers who were (rightly) more concerned with hitting deadlines and fixing bugs, than keeping the marketing team 100% up to date on the changing details.
As a designer I try to view any problem as an obstacle I can work around, rather than a roadblock, and find that “operating with limited visibility” can inspire some truly creative solutions. Also it is much more satisfying to hit the mark with limited input, mostly because by the time we launch half the dev team is at least suspicious that I might have psychic abilities.

I had access to some of the conceptual platform feature design files the developers were using, a general outline of new features and details, and a mission to create graphics that would make a visual impact – while also showing off some complex UI/platform solutions.
These designs needed to plug into established templates and layouts on the Centercode website, meaning we needed to add some extra sparkle and excitement, but keep the cohesive elements of the current web design and feature sets. I designed a beautiful set of shiny new UI platform elements, and combined them with classic Centercode icons, gradient styles, and photorealistic images (with color manipulation). These are used throughout the all campaign designs, including sales pages, social media graphics, promotions, and presentations.
